Jorge Arévalo is an illustrator, art director, and designer based in Madrid. Known for his clean lines, reduced forms, and bold color accents, he creates portraits that elegantly capture icons of pop culture. His style blends the visual language of classic editorial illustration from the 1950s and ’60s with cinematic lighting and precise character observation. Since the 1990s, he has worked for magazines such as The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Vogue, and Rolling Stone, as well as international brands like Cartier, Ray-Ban, Shiseido, and BBVA. His works appear in publications and exhibitions around the world.
